Coffee & Conversation with the COA

Coffee and Conversation was launched at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to continue supporting the Town’s elders during a time of unprecedented isolation and uncertainty. The program was created to maintain connection, provide reliable information, and ensure that older residents continued to feel engaged and valued within the community. The program features a different speaker each week, bringing a wide range of topics to participants.

Musician Matt York returns to explore the fascinating musical connection between Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan. Through live music and storytelling, discover how their friendship and collaborations helped bridge the worlds of folk and country music in the 1960s—paving the way for what we now know as Americana. Featuring songs, stories, and musical history celebrating two legendary artists. Program supported in part by a grant from the Walpole Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Mass Cultural Council.
