In February of 2023, Licensed Mental Health Clinician, Dylan Jones was appointed as the Walpole Police Department’s Mental Health Liaison; as part of a state funded grant initiative to create jail diversion programs.

In this interview, Jones discusses his position and shares more information about the duel-response model and other efforts to address the overrepresentation of individuals with mental illness and substance abuse disorder in the Massachusetts criminal justice system.
